Who else eats dinner late?

I call that laziness

Well, I work the closing shift at my job. My shift is generally 3 pm - 12am. That is why I wake up at 2 pm.I catch alot of grief about it(when I wake up), but I then ask people who work at 8 am why they don't wake up at 5 am. They never have a reply..........

my family always ate around 5 or 6; but dad was up at 5, eating at 5:30; had lunch at 11...so anything after 6 and he was going out himself. i stayed at my best friends house regularly and they ate around 7 or 8 and i was always starving before dinner :/

i usually cook around 5 or 6 now (Since i get up at 5 as well) but occassionally i'll cook as late as 7 and eat around 8, it's not often though

Many nights I'll eat supper around 8 or 9PM. If it is homemade lasagne I usually don't expect it till at least 8PM or later.

Edit: I prefer to eat at 5PM though but sometimes I'll eat a light meal to tide me over until we have a big family meal together (big plate full o' scottish mince, shepherds pie, scotch meat pies, lasagne etc)

I just finished dinner. My normal shift at work is noon to 8pm. So yeah this is pretty normal for me.

I am about to serve dinner now. Chicken Parmasian with fettucini. YUMMY!! We always eat around 10pm.
Maybe it's our culture?

Well since I generally eat breakfast at about 2 p.m. everyday, yes I eat dinner late. About 1 a.m.

im the same way. all has to do with your schedule. i dont even go to work until 2pm, so supper is generally around 12a when i get home.

I eat whenever I am hungry. I live by myself and work long and odd hours so meal time can be anytime and anywhere.

Any more, it's whenever the mood strikes / whenever I happen to be at home (or the day's restaurant of choice).

I grew up in a family that managed three farms... and though Grandma tried to have dinner ready around 6:00 PM, it wasn't unusual for us to all be outside working until well after dark (11 PM or 12 AM sometimes), before we went inside to eat.

Those were the days.

I'm eating dinner right now, it's 9:30PM. For me, this isn't odd at all. I was brought up with this to a certain extent.

I ate at 10:30... but i just came back from the gym.
