Who else doesnt have a cell phone?

Just out of curiosity, who else doesnt have cell phone? I only know of one other person that doesnt have one (18 years old and over even though many younger still have one now). Ill even make it easier by adding a poll

Ive thought about getting one. There are times I could really use one but I cant rationalize tossing $30+ a month on something I can only see myself using a few times. Ive considered the pay as you go phones but even those arent that great a deal since you still have to put money into them every month.
 
I didn't have/want one till 4 days ago, till I realised it would make my life so much simpler. And its free so wtf do I care.

Use it a lot for work, boss calls me when i'm on the road tells me to stop and pick up some stuff it sometimes forgets to tell me before leaving (although the truck has a phone in it, I'm not always in the truck). I also commute 2-3 hours a day so I can call freinds and family let them know if they want to do antyhing, or if I'm running late, saves me a lot of time. Hence makes my life simpler.

 
I don't. Had one (a Nextel) under my name for my wife to use when work provided me with a Nextel with only the Direct Connect activated, but I don't have that job anymore so we canceled it when the year was up.

Can't afford two phone lines really, and I'm not giving up a landline. Especially after the blackout last summer when the cell phones around here all got jammed with everyone using them.
 
There are people who don't have cell phones? :Q


Hehe....I'm a college student, my cell phone is my only phone, no landline. Ever since comcast started cable modem service here, I never needed it.
 
I don't currently have one. And I don't really have a need for one aside from giving my wife another means to get into contact with me during the day. But I did see a review of a new LG phone, the VX7000, that has me considering getting one. I guess it wouldn't kill me to be more accessible... 😛
 
i've been cellular for years. i had my land lines shut off, but after this bad hurricane season, i cut one back on (power goes out, the darn phone still works)
