Christmas is okay; its' a good time to spend with family. I like the holiday spirit and the decorations and the music but I think it's really for kids and older adults who may have a family; they tend to appreciate it more. I know during my teens and twenties I really didn't care about it, but then I kind of grew into it again during my thirties.

Christmas is ok but since I'm not going back across the country to see the family this year I'm not into it.

I am sick of the complete Christmas saturation you get from tv, radio, newspapers, etc.

Christmas is okay; its' a good time to spend with family.

If one's family is enjoyable to be around and you all of lots in common, it's a blast. If not, well you wind up with something much....less. Alas, for me, the later is true so I don't care much for Christmas.

the point of any holiday is to have a good time... if you're not having a good time, why participate? nobody is forcing you...

I'm an atheist so I'm not totally into Christmas ... But not just for that reason.. First off, Christmas isn't even supposed to be the most important holiday of the year, Easter is ... but it doesn't work that way because Christmas is popularized by big businesses to make more profits.. This leads me into the second reason I'm not a huge fan of Christmas, it's becoming more about merchandizing and less about the spirit of family and friends.

I like Christmas myself. I hear all these people saying "its too commercial", "businesses have ruined it". You know what. Who cares really. IMHO life is too short. I have fun being with my family and giving gifts and of course, getting gifts. I am not religious at all so I just look at it as a time to be with friends and family. I do feel bad for those who have no family. I am trying to enjoy it while everyone is still alive and around.

christmas isn't the same this year. I dunno why, just doesn't feel like it. Prolly cause i have exams in january so i spend my days studying. Also my mom annoys the hell out of me, and i havent spent christmas day with my dad in like 7 years (he's the fav parent).

new years should be good, but i havent yet heard of anyone throwing a party (i'm under 18, so i can't really get into bars n sh!t yet)

one thing- when someone gives u a gift, even if it what u wanted, does anyone else have a problem with your reaction? i can never be like "OH MY GOD COOL" even if it is REALLY cool. hmmm.

Christmas is only fun until you become 16 or 17...after that it is a pain in the ass.
