I keep forgetting that it's even happening till someone reminds me. Then it annoys me cause I have to buy things that I wouldn't normally buy, and I have to take 2 days off from work when i have a schedule to keep.

Christmas is very much a non-event for me this year.
I have not bought a single present. I want nothing & need nothing. My g/f won't be here, I won't be taking any time off from work (except for Christmas day and New Year's day).
I don't mind, though, I haven't spent any money.
My credit card will thank me.

Not a big deal this year, just trying to take advantage of the good deals you can find this time of year.
Its always a good holiday where you can dispense bad news and most likely no one will get too overly mad.
Don't care about Christmas. Only celebrate new year. I actually dislike Christmas because only restaurants open at night are Chinese food.

it's the most pointless waste of a holiday. yes i know my family has lost the entire xmas spirit. well maybe then didn't, but i sure as hell did. i don't want gifts, i don't want to give gifts, i just want to be left the fvck alone
the only thing that makes xmas worth it is the food.

christmas is not really a big deal for my family except christmas day we have a larger-than-normal dinner and give gifts. *shrug* i like giving/getting gifts personally.
the point of any holiday is to have a good time... if you're not having a good time, why participate? nobody is forcing you...
I enjoy Christmas. I get to see family I don't see on a regular basis and I get to replenish the cashflow. Opening gifts on Christmas day from "Santa" (yes, my mom still feels she must carry on the tradition - good for me ) isn't as fun as it used to be. I went from getting up at 6:30 AM shaking all the boxes to being dragged out of bed at 10:30 to get it all over with. I know almost everything I'm getting since my mom just said "Order it online, I can't be bothered".
We've gotten so many deliveries in the last few weeks that I can distinguish the brakes between the UPS, FedEx and Postal Service trucks. Nothing pisses of the mail-woman more than having to get out of her truck to place a box on my doorstep...

It's the most wonderful time of the year..yeah right. Bah Humbug!!! My favorite day is Dec 26!! Of course watching my rat bastard nephews open up the boxes of Dog Sh!t I wrapped up as their Christmas Gifts should be a hoot. Spoiled brats!! Bwuahahahaha
