I haven't done it in almost 15 years, but if it were legal I would probably smoke it once in a great while. Given that it's almost completely harmless, it should be legal.

I don't think it should be legal, too many people drink and drive we don't need another thing to impair people on the road.

Never tried it. Nor did I ever smoke anything else.

But then, I'm Dutch. We don't use it ourselves that much, we just sell it to foreigners 😀

I don't, and I come from a background of punk-rock and warehouse-parties/raves. The worst I do is a couple drinks on the weekend.

I dislike the smell of cigs/mj and dislike the concept and health harms as well. Plus I don't like supporting drug dealers and like ilk. But I can see why some people might smoke it.

Making it legal or illegal won't change the effect on driving while high. Driving while drunk is illegal, yet it is done anyway.

You know, the root of it's illegality is buried in the south - the made it contraband so that they could arrest Hispanics. Look it up.

I have never and will never smoke marijuana.

You know, it's not the same as crystal meth. Is there any reason why you don't drink/smoke? You don't sound like you've ever tried it in a relaxed/fun setting.

edit:

What? It's illegal because tobacco/alcohol want to eliminate a competing product.

I've never tried it in my life; my wife doesn't touch the stuff. Getting caught with it would probably spell the end of either of our professional licenses. (But, that's not really the reason we don't use it.)

Oh, and I think it should be legalized.

I dont smoke weed but i disagree.

I think it should be legal. Drink and drive... smoke and drive... i dont see an increase in the number of people doing this. It's going to be the same sort of people who drink and drive that would smoke and drive.

And there shouldnt be laws for marijuana. Not for this issue that's legal in other countries and legal with a doctors note to boot

Has more to do with our culture than if it's illegal or not. The majority of the world has it banned because they don't want to see your lazy ass toking up. True story. The type of person who would smoke it on the job ruined it for you all.

Woo... Proof that you can become an ATOT mod without smokin' pot! 🙂

never done it. i had one roommate in college who smoked every day for 4 years, and I could see him get dumber and dumber. maybe it wasn't the weed, but who knows, maybe it was. anyway, i have no desire to smoke anything anyway.

Yeah, I figured. Seems like everyone but me and my wife are doing it.

Pretty much in the same boat - regardless of profession and income level it would appear a lot of people are blazing.
