no pics.. please dont ban...

cut pork belly, pan fried at low temp, fresh cracked black pepper on it (5 pieces). Green leaf lettuce, mayo, no tomato (not a fan). Fresh baked bread from a farm. So tasty.

Too fancy...but you get points for trying to make it sound menu-worthy.

Ex. "green leaf lettuce" - as opposed to what? 'orange leaf'....?
Ex. "fresh cracked pepper"....ok gourmet, we all have pepper grinders...they sell them at Big Lots these days.

Cut pork belly? Why don't you use BACON in your BLT? Or just call it a CPBLT instead?

Edit...just read about the Tomato...make that a CPBL. I agree... 😛 FAIL!

There are several different types of lettuce....

Head Lettuce, Romaine, Green Leaf, Red Leaf, the list goes on.

I substitute turkey bacon for pig bacon, where's that poll option AntiFreze? 😉

You borked the BLT. The tomater puts the T in the BLT. The medley of the taste of bacon, lettuce, tomato and mayo has been lost here. 🙁

It hasn't been lost. It's been tried, loathed and improved upon. WTH good is a medley of tastes if the end result is not enjoyable due to one slimy ingredient? Don't be such a blind slave to tradition. Replace the tomato with extra bacon and the sandwich gets better.

I make a variation with sliced avocados added on and a flavored mayonnaise. I can't remember exactly what goes into the mayonnaise though, I'll have to look up the recipe. SO delicious.

I am a huge fan of BLTs anytime.

My old roommate never ate them because he said he didn't like how the sandwich was crispy from the lettuce and soft from the tomato at the same time.

A bacon, bacon and lettuce sandwich is NO medley of tastes, Smedley, by definition.

It's sad, lonely and failed duet.

😉
