Quote So far thats been goal of the year. They dont come much better than that.

Zidane is without a doubt the best soccer player in the world.

I wish I had more faith in the Brazilian team ... but it's not the case. :(

Anyway, this is going to be one sweet World Cup. Just take a look at this:

Group A:
France
Senegal
Denmark
Uruguay

Group C:
Brazil
Turkey
China
Costa Rica

Group F:
Argentina
England
Sweden
Nigeria

Group H:
Russia
Belgium
Japan
Tunisia

The first game in the playoffs (Round of 16), will be "Winner A" against "Runner Up F". This way, there's a great chance to be France vs. Argentina or England. The winner will then go on to play against the winner from "Winner C" against "Runner Up H", with a great probability of being Brazil. Thus, in the quarter-finals, there's a great chance of having a Brazil vs France match! It gets worse: the winner from this match will then probably go up against Argentina or England.

All of this to play a final with the "weaker" (and put large quotes in that "weaker") Germany or Italy.

Sounds like fun!!:Q:confused::Q:cool:

Anyone but Brazil. face it, they had a real hard time trying to qualify for the WC.

The two best bet are either Argentina or France. England might go far enough if they're lucky while Italy may be the underdogs.

Zidane's goal against Leverkusen was thundering. Let that be a warning to everyone. :D
