Who do you think makes better Inkjet printers?

I think they're all garbage. I'd rather pay $800 for a quality printer, with user replaceable parts, and not get raped on ink. Printers are disposable. I get whatever's cheap, and buy another one when the ink runs out...

So far I've been happy with my Canon Printer. However, I'm using their multifunction appliance and it's lasted so far for 3 or so years and going strong. However, with inkjet printers being as inexpensive as they are and ink as expensive as it is, in many cases, it can be easier to just get a new one every 2 or so years.

Back in the day, I loved Brother electric typewriters. But, when it comes to printers, I almost always stick with Canon. I used to respect HP for their printers, but they tend to be too expensive, especially on the ink and I find Canon a better value overall.

I've never been impressed by Epson or any of the others.

Brother?

Are you serious? Dude Canon destroys brother when it comes to printers.

If you're looking for a printer the only two brands you need to know is Canon and Epson. I've read tons of reviews of every printer out there when I got my awesome canon IP4000R and either Canon or Epson was always on top.

I think Epson might be better color wise, but Canon has the most efficient printers with their 1 picoliter ink drops.

Technology wise Canon is far superior to Brother.

I keep both. A cannon for good and fast color printing, and an El cheappo($59 on sale ) AIO Borther, for Faxing, Copying, and spare color printer.

For the price Brother is a good backup choice.

Thats another thing. AIO's are so popular because they can do everything, but I would only use it as a backup.

Too bad we'll probably never see a day where TN LCD's, AIO printers, and 500Megapixel P&S cameras disappear in favor of s-ips, pigment printers, and larger sensor size P&S cameras.
