Actions speak louder than words. It had nothing to do with looks.

Why do you care?

Who the hell refers to him as Bush 43? Are you trying to be obtuse or cute? They both inherited their positions, and while neither is particularly intelligent Romney is obviously more so (Bush probably being sub-average Romney maybe being slightly above average). Also, do you have some sort of facial recognition deficiency?

i've actually heard Bush GWB.... was off the charts intelligent behind closed doors...

i heard he'd called a cabinet meeting, with advisors, and he'd be able to tell each of THEM, what they were going to advise him to do, in detail...before they told him.

edit: here's where i read that:

I'd heard he needed to be constantly "handled" behind closed doors and shielded from opinions outside of closed doors.

Things like him sitting stupefied for several minutes after the trade center attacks seems to support that...

i think really and truly, people severely underestimate what it takes to be president..

im like, borderline, anxiety disorder, that has gotten worse sense i got older, sometimes i get really, really, anxious, before i meet a client, or go into someones posh office (even just to pick up a cheque, not even when i have to be on guard and ready to answer technical questions)... but it's definitely like a social, anxiety, thing...

now... when i think about the things the president has to do???

completely forget that. lol... i couldnt do it!!!

Seems to me that Romney had/has the better business acumen of the two.

Now let's go one step further and compare those two with Obama and Clinton. No, not the male ones; that's a no brainer. I'm referring to the females of that surname. ;)

i watched Bush turn gray, Clinton turn gray, Obama turn gray!!!

i havent seen Bush at all on TV since.... Clinton is still alive and kicking, he actually looks way healthier now that he's out of office....

i cant even begin to guess how Obama will act outside of office yet...

it's gotta be a incredibly high stress job.

I would guess the Romneys. He has a min of $250mm disclosed and is probably much wealthier than that.

I highly doubt Bush is smarter than Romney. Did like that puff piece about Bush.

UNLESS.... 9/11 was really a conspiracy, and those minutes after the attack weren't "holy shit america is under attack"

and was.

"holy shit those zionist sons of bitches really did it"

In case you really can't figure it out, you call a human a chimp in two scenarios. One their black and have the goofy ears and circular face, but the whole latent black = inferior race = chimp implication makes it much more offensive of an insult to level at black people. Or two you're white and have that semi-inbred small head/scrunched facial features/squinty eye look that Bush jr pulled off perfectly; it certainly didn't help that he was a bumbling idiot every time he opened his mouth as well.

Romney fits neither of those in any way at all... Basically, you're just so oblivious to the world that you make these assumptions without any actual connection to reality...

romney (and I) looked CLOSER to a chimp than Obama did because the former's face was wider, shorter, his head was narrower, and had longer fore arms. Obama looks like a neanderthal to me.

Romney has a very tall head... Do you seriously have some sort of facial recognition problem?

That was a very interesting read. To be honest I have kinda thought Bush not to be too intelligent. And for reasons written in the article. I would say Romney to have more intellect. But I guess perhaps I'm wrong. I never met those two so I can't judge now can I?

I think they both have IQ's higher than 43, though I wouldn't want to guess how high.

I recognized long ago that Romney has a very tall head. And that wasnt a characteristic of his that I said looked chimpish

It completely negates any sort of chimp look he could have. Look at the face of a chimp... Then look at his... He has nothing that matches that unless you have some weird facial processing bug that's making you see something that isn't there.

Google image Bush looks like a chimp. You'll get pages and pages of pictures showing all different photos directly comparing various faces of Bush to various faces of chimps. Google Romney looks like a chimp you'll get one where someone shopped chimp teeth into his mouth, a bunch of just regular pictures of Romney, some pictures of Bush compared to a chimp, and some pictures of Obama compared to a chimp.

It seems there's been a concerted effort by some to revive the Presidents reputation since he left office. The more I read about it; the more I find claims that things were so much different when no one could proof otherwise to probably be laden with bias. The way he acted during emergencies, and the fruit of his policies certainly don't support the article.

Neither one is very smart. They do have the educational background but that didn't' help Bush at all with his constant flubs and "making up weird words". However, both were smart enough to get into the positions they had and have now and live a comfy life wealthy. So I guess in that sense they are smarter or maybe just "luckier" than the rest of us.

They both had extreme amounts of support from the very beginning of their lives to ensure they got to where ever they were going in life. There's some luck involved too and in the case of Bush sufficiently covering up his screw-ups. The both of them were handed their lives although Romney is clearly a little more functional than Bush. Romney is still obviously not the business genius he should need to be to be in his position; although, he is obviously a grad A scumbag in my opinion.
