Who do you know in the military that is being deployed to Iraq?

Cousin Jed: Possibly Turkey
Cousin Jed's Wife: Was in Oman or something, but got pregnant
Cousin Charlie: Azores
Uncle John: He can't say
 
I don't know anybody that's getting deployed because of the current situation. My sister's fiance is in the Air Force and has been in the region several times before he changed what he does.
 
Well, My step-father (enlisted, 16 years) got deployed to Saudi in January, my father (Full Time AF reserves since 12 years) has been activated and is at March ARB in CA, my Step-Mother (AF Reserves) has been activated since 9/11 at Randolph AFB in TX, and my mother (Enlisted, 22 years) was going to get deployed but an injury to her back has prevented her from being able to do much.

How 'bout them beans 😉
 
A lot of friends from high school

3 are regular army - Rangers
Another is in the gaurd, intelligence, not sure where he is
Another 14, of wich only 8 were good friends, are all in the same gaurd MP company, shipped out a few weeks ago.

A lot of friends in harms way

and my cousin in the navy....

both left in the nimitz battlegroup

another friend is deployed in korea...



and i appreciate that they're risking their lives and stuff for our well being.......be careful cousin... 🙂
 
have friend from high school who is in special ops, he never actually confirm this to me but i think he is delta team member
 
Also had a friend go through the air force acadamy, and two others through west point. Though I've only been able to keep in touch with one of the girls at the point who still uses her good old aim screename. Quicker this war is over quicker she can get married to her beau

actually thats the second marriage i know thats being held up
 
Pilot friend of mine is deployed to Kuwiat, a guy I know threw a friend is a B-52 pilot and he is also deployed overseas (don't know where though).

2 friends. Matt who'll be in a MASH unit, and Nate who's MO is engineering, but was deployed with an infantry unit. He'll likely be carrying a machine gun.
