Please no cynicism (i.e.: I want Bachmann because Obama would steamroll her) but which Republican candidate would you think would be the best president?
 
If we can't have a a Bachmann - Palin ticket 🙁 , then I'll vote for Huntsman since the little I know about him is more good than bad.

It's going to Romney though. Newt has too much baggage including adultery, multiple divorces, corruption, ethics violations and influence peddling. He's also failed to deny being with Glenn Beck on that night in 1990 when that poor young woman drew her last breath.
 
Honestly, I hope they choose the worst candidate. Basically anyone other than Romney, for obvious reasons. Although, that would be worse if the shittiest candidate actually won. The electoral system sucks.
 
I'm disappointed with the GOP slate. As lousy as I think most of this current administration has been, I'd still prefer Obama over Palin, Bachmann, Cain etc. The ones that strike me as viable candidates are Romney and Gingrich. I like some of each of their ideas, but also dislike some. Overall I like Romney as the best choice and I hope he wins the nomination.

You didn't list Ron Paul. How fitting. This is a good reflection of our presidential voting situation. Main stream media has done this all year. They omit Ron Paul from polls and results. Somebody like Michelle Bachman wins a straw pull, they make it seem like an accomplishment, fail to mention Ron Paul who came in second and just skip to the third place candidate.

Then when Ron Paul wins straw pulls, people down play it. Nobody can argue w\ Ron Pauls consistent voting record or sound judgement. There's never a debate of any sort. The worst people can do is bring up things like his religious beliefs that he doesn't campaign on, or his beliefs of things like evolution.

Every other candidate on that list has already been exposed, save for huntsman and santorum that nobody is voting for.

Huntsman seems like a decent, normal, competent guy. He'd be the winner if the GOP wasn't so packed with crazy people.

They may be saving him for last but I don't know. They're claiming Gingrich is the front runner and he's got little to no credibility.
