lol I was the first to vote for somali pirates

apparently stealing music/movies/software is worse than killing people

What's the body count of somali pirates? It's not very high given the # of kidnappings right? From what I've read, they do their best to lower the body count and keep the pirating as a business transaction. Doesnt make it right ,just saying they're not wantonly killing people

I actually have more respect for the pirates. At least they're out their in plain sight, taking chances and risking their own lives. Software pirates hide behind their internet handles and work out of their parent's air conditioned basements.
Whether it's a million dollar load of crude or 50 dollar copy of Microsoft Works, stealing is stealing but I reserve a little more respect for the crooks who work a little harder for it.

Interesting related tidbit to the Somali situation: Unscrupulous transporters of Toxic Waste have been dumping their Cargos off the Somali Coast, because there's no Authority to stop them from doing so. The Barrels have been washing up on Somali Beaches and many have become poisoned as a result.

Due to that, I vote Software Pirates. Consider Somali Pirates as the Poetic Justice Police.

The internet is like software pirates' international seas. It's not like we see IRL pirates running around the streets stealing food from supermarkets.

Land pirates do not exist.
