Today, I walked up the hill to the proverbial wise man. I had a bird in my hand behind my back. I asked "wise man, is my bird dead or alive? What answer did I get?

Edit: I will not share the correct answer until there is a substantial amount of replies.

he said "My son, although i do not know if the bird is dead or alive, however, by the way that you are holding the bird as of this moment. I can tell you one thing and one thing only: you are flaming homosexual"

Why the hell would you take a dead bird to a wise man on a hill?

The Wise Man replied, "The bird's fate lies in your hand. If you determine to give the bird life, he

will live. If you determine to end his life, he will be dead."

One cannot answer correctly given the way you worded the problem. You said "I had a bird in my hand", when you should have said "I caught a bird". In your version, you could very well have picked up a dead bird and brought it to the sage. In this case, the bird's fate does not lie in your hands.

a.k.a. Shroedinger's bird

Can't be bothered to think today, so here you are.

Edit: And if you look at some of the links you can even see that you posted it wrong.

1) Thanks for ruining some fun we might have had.
2) I didnt know there was a right or wrong way to post something. Just because I worded it differently and put it in my own thoughts doesnt mean its wrong.

No no he's not dead, he's, he's restin'!

when you word tjhings differently you always run the chance of changing the meaning of the entire thought.

you made the question more ambigous and created an option for more correct answers

since it is very likely that you farted many times as you climbed that hill, the bird is most definitely DEAD
