I've been running into an odd issue where I get a full screen Acer ad when I try to switch between forums in Firefox Mobile. I'm not sure if that's just me, though. It makes the site unusable, though.

The forums using Samsung Browser.

(Hint: Give up trying to have a good experience using the mobile Chrome browser on the forums here) :

I am on Brave, same issue.
That's odd.

For years, the complaints here have always revolved around mobile Chrome. It still looks normal for me using Samsung's browser, but I guess it involves other browsers now. I will say based on the years and years of mobile Chrome issues/complaints, I wouldn't hold my breath on them fixing any issues concerning the Brave browser.

It sucks to say that, but I just don't think they care enough to put in the time to fix the issues (going all the way back even when Purch owned the site).

This is what I'm getting in Firefox Mobile for iOS:

What sucks is that the Acer ad is taking browser focus, so no matter the link I attempt to select at this point, that Acer ad is going to open. It basically makes the site unusable on mobile.

Do you have an adblocker extension enabled for Firefox?

Umm... it's a cell phone? I'd imagine that a network level ad blocking solution like PiHole would work fine when I'm on local Wi-Fi, but if I'm looking at Anandtech on my mobile, odds are that I'm not at home.

Sure, you can spin up a aws service for free and point a vpn custom dns at it :D Ad filtering on the go!

You laugh but I use openVPN to route through my home network a fair bit. Mainly if I need to remote into any of the computers at home.

:D totally cool. You could use pihole like that as well. There's options to get rid of ad's, which really has nothing to do with why the forum decided to start rendering like it's drunk.

Maybe the last update broke new things for some, but I've seen similar complaints over the years here.

This just started happening last week for me, on DuckDuckGo browser. I tested in firefox and chrome and it's the same deal.

I haven't seen this particular issue before. Usually it's just the forum being slow or down once in a while

I have sent an email to someone who may be able to get someone to look at it.

I am unable to reproduce the issue. Can you please let me know what browser you’re using, the device, the OS, location, and a screenshot?

S20 FE using Brave or the default Samsung browser.

If I zoom out I get.

If I drag the page left without zooming I get.

If I click on any forum hosted messages they open really big amd I can't shrink them down thus I'm unable to get to the buttons at the top right to exit back to the messages, the back button takes me back to the forum messages list.
This is what pictures look like. That's as far as I can shrink them and I can't drag it anywhere.

This is mobile anandtech Josh. All Android OS. from the looks of it. I haven't seen anyone complain about it on an iPhone.

As far as browsers?
Read the thread. It's Firefox, Chrome, Samsung browser, Brave, Duckduckgo for starters.

I'd appreciate comments that are helpful next time.

I read the thread. Don't need the attitude, thanks.

No attitude here. You were asking questions as if you didn't read the thread. People were posting browsers, devices, etc.
This has been going on since March 3rd and I did the @Josh & @Steve a week ago in the thread. No response. I finally emailed Ryan to get the ball rolling.
