Is this firemark score normal, I obviously use older processor and there will be some bottleneck, but this system is good for 2 more years probably.
The test was run without touching any options, default.

The graphics score looks right in line with the reviews.

Thanks, any idea why my physics score is so much lower?
Is it from the older cpu?

Offtopic: Today I just started playing games with my new video card when I felt smoke smell, I immediately shut down and opened the box and smelled everything, but there was no smoke at all coming from there. Then I went to the living room and went to the terrace where was my wife and I told her there is smoke, which I could smell outside too. She said probably someone is burning trash :D. Then I went to the kitchen and saw so much smoke and I saw схе forgot some eggs which were boiling for 1 hour. So this is how my wife scared me for my new video card.

There are a couple of people here who got reference models. Most everyone else is waiting for AIB.

I'm waiting to see if they'll bundle battlefield 1 with 480's and 470's.
Hey you know what that would be nice. I normally would get such game on consoles as a lot of my friends also play battlefield but don't have gaming PC's. Last time I got dirt rally free but didn't enjoy it.

I'm waiting for my 480 to be delivered. It should be here tomorrow if the tracking can be trusted. I ordered it off of amazon last week and applied a gift card to it dropping the price to $195. Pretty good IMO considering I sold my GTX 960 for $185 last month. :) If this thing can unlock to 8gb then damn, what a deal. But if it doesn't then oh well... I'm still going to be a happy camper.

I'm sure it will unlock. That's an awesome price some of you guys got with that amazon deal. I paid msrp for my 8GB on launch day.

I was reading that the $30 off code for Amazon was a normal code to be used when you buy anything over $150 at least once. It sucks that they cancelled it the next day. It wasn't a GPU promotion or anything by all means as I've seen that advertisement before to sign up for an Amazon visa.

I never used it so it sucked to have a card in my cart then enter the code and it told me the code expired.

I dont think anyone knows exactly how many plp ordered rx 480... All I can tell u they are either out of stock or $100 overpriced... I'd assume demand is high and not a lot of stock.
its not a couple of plp who has them, a lot more thats for sure...
Ill buy one right now at msrp $200 for 4gb, I cant find any since they came out.

I'd imagine it's a few. There's a guy on Bitcointalk selling 24 that he bought from Newegg. Buying pressure will likely keep up for awhile yet. He's only selling them for $265 shipped though, so it's not a terrible markup.

From what I'm hearing from a few vendors I've talked with AMD could've stockpiled 3x the volume and we'd still be in the same situation. The demand is huge according to them.

Hopefully the AIBs can meet demand soon, Yakk be wanting his Nitro! :D

That's a pretty tall order. 390 + 30% is pretty much 980Ti territory. Given a reference 480 is neck and neck with a 390, getting +30% on that would be a massive OC.

Well IF it can OC to 1500MHz on air ill get one, if it will only manage to go to 1400MHz, then probably ill wait for Vega. But i will also wait for the GTX 1060 and see how things will go.

I really don't see the 480 oc ing that great even with the aib versions. It's a small chip that was volted and clocked for maximum performance straight from amd. There's only so far these things will go regardless of temps or volts. Look at the 10 series from nvidia.
