God works at Cisco and they have ICMP disabled so they prayers fall into the black space of digital oblivion. ;)

He does answer them. Sometimes the answer is "no". As a friend of mine once put it, "God does not play Calvinball". There are rules by which the universe operates and I believe that everything that has happened has an explanation that is within the realm of scientific possibility, but I also believe in God and I believe that He has an interest in our well-being and I believe that maintaining a relationship with Him is ultimately in our own best interest and will improve our lives.

watch Bruce Almighty, the scene where Jim Carrey feels lazy to go through the billions of prayers/wishes and clicks on "Yes to All"

Think about it for a moment... you have a million people wishing for the Bills to win the Superbowl...
Then, you have a million people wishing for the Cowboys to win the Superbowl.

Naturally, this confuses God and he vows to never listen to another prayer.

We have nanotechnology, we will soon create a superior god. In fact we will each have our own god and do god-battles for cash prizes.

it is. i prayed for God to keep me together with someone but they left anyways. jerk :disgust:

Obviously God didn't grant your prayer because it would have interfered with that person's free will... you're a "believer" right? Shouldn't you know this sh1t by now?

If God does not answer your prayer in this life (he has his own reasons), he will reward you in the afterlife for praying to him.

My life would be pretty different if he had. I wouldn't be in VA, I'd be in PA and probably engaged if not married.

Maybe the girl was praying harder.

Seriously though, read the Bible. This is talked about in the New Testament. You'll find more accurate answers there than in here.
