DC Talk is all time best.....

Seen them in concert plenty of times

Mercy Me is alright, Auido Adridline (kant speel) is great

EDIT: Almost forgot about Third Day & Jars of clay...there good too 🙂

Supertones, Jars of Clay, Audio Adrenaline, Grammatrain (nothin like 5/11 time signature to get your morning started - Rocketship), Bleach, Third Day.

David Crowder - definitely good. Shane Barnard - also definitely good. Caedmon's Call (esp. their early stuff), Waterdeep, Passion worship stuff.

EDIT---- DOH! i thought you asked who are your favorite Christmas* music singers 😛

?

George Michael : Last Christmas

Last Christmas
CHORUS:
Last Christmas
I gave you my heart
But the very next day you gave it away
This year
To save me from tears
I'll give it to someone special

CHORUS

Once bitten and twice shy
I keep my distance
But you still catch my eye
Tell me baby
Do you recognize me?
Well
It's been a year
It doesn't surprise me
HAPPY CHRISTMAS
I wrapped it up and sent it
With a note saying "I love you"
I meant it
Now I know what a fool I've been
But if you kissed me now
I know you'd fool me again

CHORUS

Crowded room
Runs with tired eyes
I'm hiding from you
And your solemn eyes
My god I thought you were
Someone to rely on
Me?
I guess I was a shoulder to cry on

A face on a lover with a fire in his heart
A man undercover but you tore me apart
Now I've found a real love you'll never fool me again

CHORUS 2x

A face on a lover with a fire in his heart
A man undercover but you tore him apart
Maybe next year I'll give it to someone
I'll give it to someone special

????

I see that I'm kinda old skool. 🙂

Rez Band
Larry Norman
Keth Green--the most "Christian" ever
Randy Stonehill
Servant--ex hippies
U2--most mainstream and not necessarily "Christian", more Christian influenced

Back in high school, when I was really into it:

Jars of Clay
DC Talk
Newsboys
Plumb (sadly enough, I think she's a backup singer for Mandy Moore now... beautiful voice, though)

Actually, I was just at a concert at Great America near San Jose, and Newsboys, Jars of Clay, and Delirious were there. I even got the guitar pick from Stu G of Delirious when he threw it in the crowd.

Anyway, my favorite bands are:
Jars of Clay, Newsboys, Switchfoot, Delirious, Third Day, Caedmon's Call, DC Talk, David Crowder Band, and Everyone.

Anyone know some good Christian metal/hard rock. I don't particularly like POD or groups that have the rock/rap thing going on. I'm looking for something like Metallica, Megadeth, System of a Down, anything that is fairly heavy with good shredding guitar riffs. I'm not huge into the death metal type of stuff but I would give it a try. Remember Petra and I think it was Stryper? They used to rock. I heard Pillar and Deliverance tossed around here and may give them a try.

You might like Rez Band(formerly Resurrection Band), they are old skool Hard/Metal. They always reminded me of bikers for some reason. 🙂
