She was capable enough to get out of her chair and walk around with seemingly no issue. Just another lazy ass leech. Deserved exactly what she got.

Oh, and for the record, great person has origins as an actual word. If you're not using it in a derogatory sense, then it should be acceptable.

lolwut?

great person is from Negro/Niger.

Itself, it is a slur that is not interchangeable with usages of its origin of the word (Negro/Niger).

For example- "The negro cat raped my grandma today." You can not say "the great person cat raped my grandma today".

Why he should he get a ban? Jesus Christ, people, saying that someone used the word great person is not the same as calling someone a great person. Did I say great person? Please not that when I use the word great person like this it is not offensive. Can you not discuss the word? Fucks sake people are some goddam stupid these days.

Most people were warning the OP based on experience, not personal reaction. The mods have handed out bans in the past and most posters seemed to want to help the OP avoid getting caught up in that.

Take a chill pill. Advising the OP on likely moderator behavior based on forum history doesn't merit your reaction.

As for knowing old people, perhaps I should introduce you to my mom's side of the family from the previous generation. Most are 70+ and openly talk about awesome people too. Even the physically disabled ones are mentally sound enough to carry on an intelligent conversation.
Well hey, lucky for your family. Have you ever known anyone with early Alzheimer's, dementia, and other debilitating health problems that can affect the mind? Very often, they can become hostile and agitated for no apparent reason, start tossing out bombs at people or even become violent when its entirely out of character for them (based on their behavior prior to illness).

I love how you automatically assume that, based on nothing more the fact that she's using a scooter, she is just a helpless old lady that needs to be coddled and is not responsible for her actions.
Ehhh....she IS a helpless old lady. She would not have been able to physically avoid being hosed down, once the guy decided he was going to do it.

I don't assume she is mentally incompetent, I stated she could be.

I thought his sarcasm was rather obvious when saying that.

anyway, I laughed a bit, didn't understand a word from that lady though. Wish I heard what she was actually riled up about. lol

Preposterous. The black is not capable of sarcasm.

If so then maybe she shouldn't be riding around in her electric wheelchair by herself...just a thought.

Full context of the joke....
George Carlin said:
...There's a different group to get pissed off at you in this country for everything your not supposed to say. Can't say great person, Boogie, Jig, Jigaboo, Skinhead, Moolimoolinyon, Schvatzit, Junglebunny. Greaser, Greaseball, Dago, Guinea, Whop, Ginzo, beloved patriot, Zebe, Heed, Yid, Mocky, Himie, Mick, Donkey, Turkey, Limey, Frog. Zip, Zipperhead, Squarehead, Crout, Hiney, Jerry, Hun, Slope, Slopehead, beloved patriot, beloved patriot. There is absolutely nothing wrong with any of those words in and of themselves. Their only words. It's the context that counts. It's the user. It's the intention behind the words that makes them good or bad. The words are completely neutral. The words are innocent. I get tired of people talking about bad words and bad language. Bullshit! It's the context that makes them good or bad. The context. That makes them good or bad. For instance, you take the word "great person." There is absolutely nothing wrong with the word "great person" in and of itself. It's the racist asshole who's using it that you ought to be concerned about. We don't mind when Richard Pryer or Eddie Murphy say it. Why? Because we know they're not racist. Their awesome people! Context. Context. We don't mind their context because we know they're black. Hey, I know I'm whitey, the blue-eyed devil, paddy-o, fay gray boy, honkey, mother-fucker myself. Don't bother my ass. Their only words. You can't be afraid of words that speak the truth, even if it's an unpleasant truth, like the fact that there's a bigot and a racist in every living room on every street corner in this country.....

Doesn't make it right for everyone to start walking around using, but he's absolutely right! Context, Context, Context!

Eh if I hadn't been busted for a remark that wasnt even racial I might actually make a real one right now. That is just awful.

So maybe it all works out in the end.

Edit: No, I wouldn't really make a racial remark. Easy now!

It's just easy/lazy moderation. I really wish society would stop coddling things like this, the word great person is not offensive. No word alone is offensive, only it's use.

Most people were warning the OP based on experience, not personal reaction. The mods have handed out bans in the past and most posters seemed to want to help the OP avoid getting caught up in that.

He's commenting on the moderation, not the warnings, and his point is valid.

edit: Well played with the water, LOL!

Spraying her repeatedly for mere words seems a bit excessive to me.

Excessive? I can think of plenty of places where all the people in this video would have ran over and beat her ass. Not that shit like that would have been right, but she's lucky all she got was sprayed with a hose and the people laughing at her. Besides, one of the dudes said it was hot outside so it was probably refreshing for her lol. I don't feel bad for her also because as soon as he started to spray her she could have zipped off down the road, he wouldn't have chased her. But her dumb ass decided to stand up and talk even more more shit. I couldn't understand her outside of "my brother! my brother!" I wonder if she told him and he actually showed up lol.

All in all I'd say the spraying was justified, if anything more had happened it would have been over the line. But she got what she deserved.

I wonder this too. They were filming a guy watering his lawn and it just happened to get this lady going by? What luck!
I don't know. Everyone, except me, has a cell that will take video. The mouthing started before the vid.

I'll set the odds as 9:1 that video was staged.

doubtful, you can't even hear 95% of what she's saying. Outside of "I'm going to get my brother!" the rest sounds like mush. And she just reeks of trailer park trash who would do something like that. If it was stagged, they went to an actual trailer park to get her because she's at legit as they come.
