I think all Obama believes in is socialism and big government and killing babies to promote stem cell research so they can pay the abortionists (Murderers) to harvest the stem cells by killing babies. There is probably no need for stem cells from embryos. They cause medical problems all by themselves. Research shows stem cells can be harvested from adults and there is no need to harvest them from embryos. So Obamma is just a big liar. Why do people follow this flip flopper that promised to end ear marks?

The reason I started this thread was to get the forum's GOP supporters to talk about who they are and their values. There have been a number of threads about the GOP without much participation by its supporters.

From what I have seen the GOP's base is composed of the:

Small government advocates
Religious Right, primarily Southerh Baptist.
The South, which became Republican in response Democrats support of minority rights.

Their agenda has been:
Cut taxes and curb in the Federal government activities/
Imposing the Religious Right's definition of family values
Selecting judges that are "strict constructionists"

I have thought about adding the Neocons to the list of the GOP base but I am not sure if their influence had more to do with GWB foreign policies than the GOP.
