With correlations that high it becomes mathematically impossible in some cases and nearly impossible in others for other candidates to beat him in many of those categories though. I agree they would add extra context so that we could see the difference, but still. I mean, Jesus it's bad.

definitely not mathematically impossible, but I take your point anyhow.

I don't know. I look at that list and think "Yep, American citizens like Trump" which is to say I think that list describes pretty typical Americans rather than crazy hillbilly redneck dumb fucks the media is portraying.

But until you know who is not voting for Trump, something like this is completely worthless. It's a correlation. It isn't even a coefficient from a logistic regression. There are no indicators of statistical significance either. It doesn't actually tell you anything.

I'm going to take a wild guess and assume he wasn't talking about Trump being concerned but rather about people who are talking about intelligence going on about Drumpf (which has an NPR level of entertainment as a joke).

I talked to a family friend that services and installs HVAC systems today about the election since we voted in IL for the primary today. He's in his early 50's and has run his own business for 20+ years. He voted for Obama twice. He is voting Trump. He said he's done picking the well-spoken groomed politician. What he loves about Trump is he makes the politicians squirm and Trump speaks like a layman.

I think the working people walk into the booths every 4 years and they feel like nothing changes. Now that there is someone completely different that the establishment loathes, it gets them excited. It is like payback for decades of lies and BS.

I'm a fair bit younger than him, so I haven't been completely jaded by the process yet. But I'm starting to understand the appeal for some voters, and it has nothing to do with being a bigot or racist.

It's not like the Job Creators are making a better offer.

The process of dumping American labor impacted the inner cities first, letting the strategists of the right wing paint it as a racial issue for decades. It's now spread out into the 'burbs & small towns into White populations who were previously less affected.

It's a cruel twist that some of the staunchest supporters of Republicanism are suffering the worst from an ideology they honestly believe in.

Trump shrewdly maintains the basic deceptions while harnessing their anger.

You're right, it isn't all that funny but I don't think that's the point.

The point is that Trump has to be the most thin-skinned public douchebag to ever take such a large stage, and you just know he googles himself and has teams of interns googling him all day long. The way he has long handled these insults in the same 3rd grade way that he has conducted his campaign encourages his detractors to flood the internet with the same type of childish button-pushing that is very well known to grind his gears.

The point is you're trying to demean Trump and his supporters by calling them immature and unintelligent, while in the same breath resorting to grade school name calling. Someone saying, "Those Obummer supporters are really immature" wouldn't be taken seriously either.
