I think I'm the only one with the 1st generation iPod and still using it. If you have had multiple iPods, poll whichever one you are currently using and then tell us how many you've had overall in the thread.

And for those of you who have a first gen iPod can you please check this thread and let me know on this? The more I look today, the more I can only assume that the cable and or adapter that I need isn't something thats being made.

Ipod Nano Black 2 GB version.

I love this thing, but will take a serious look at the Zune.

Ok I think I jacked the poll because I deleted and re-added all of the options differently :D Oops

Guess anyone who votes will have to vote again

No FLAC support = no love

Of course there is rockbox, but then the battery life goes down the drain.

I had an origional iPod Mini until I dropped it and it would no longer recognize. :( Made me very sad, I really liked having it.

Don't ever plan on getting it. I'm sure it isn't a bad player, but you have to admit most people just buy it to be 'in'. Also, I'm trying to keep my hearing 'unscrewed' as I had a player (POS died at about 10 months), and I couldn't hear anything without jacking it up on the street/in public to deafening levels. I'll just save it for my stereo.
