Who actual has a bath in hotel room washrooms??

In movies you always see the girl having a bubble bath, often in a romantic/sexy hotel room setting. In real life though who the heck has a bath in a hotel room washroom? They install bathtubs in many hotel rooms so obviously many people must be using them. At home I really like having baths, they are relaxing, in fact that's mostly what I have, but I couldn't get myself to use a hotel room bathtub.
 
never I guess, even in nicer hotels. I suppose I was just always told "too germy" by mom and never thought second of it.
 
WE use to wear flip flops in the tubs/showers of hotels, no matter if there were needles between furniture (one story hotel in middle of nowhere) or higher class 20th floor.
 
thanks to my gambling addict friend who always gets comped, I've stayed at a lot of nice hotels... general trend seems to be that suite = bathtub, normal room = shower.
 
What is it with the current generation's fixation on germs? Go outside and eat some dirt, fall down and leave the grass/tar/gravel to staunch the flow of blood oh, and, get off my lawn ya hoodlums! (Can't say 'punks' anymore cuz, the local gangs deem it disrespectful.)

It doesn't really have to do with the current generation, although it could be related to self rightousness. I knew a certain someone who ate pizza with a fork (not fork + knife, just a fork, try imagining that) bc he thought it was disgusting to touch food.
 
Are you English or from thereabouts? Linguistic quirk; Americans say "take a bath" and I think Brits say "have a bath". 'Have' seems to make much more sense, but I still say 'take' out of habit.

And I don't like baths anyway. 🙂

Baths rock. I take them a lot in the winter. Sometimes I sleep the whole night in the tub. I'll wake up every so often to drain some water from the tub, and add more hot. I need to put heating coils in the bottom. It'll be like a giant crock pot :^D

Seriously, is this a hazardous activity I did not know about?

I have taken baths in hotel rooms before and no obvious physical aftereffect resulted except for a feeling of cleanliness.

Should I be worried?

It's the idea that a hundred other people have washed their piss, shit and lies off in the very shower before you. So no matter how much bleach or Vim you use, it still feels like you're taking a bath in a toilet. And teh herp, yes, teh herp.
