No, it defies any reasonable test of sanity that none of these people, that have been at the highest echelons of power, had no idea about any of it.

And for fucks sake, Obama didn't come into the WH after being a governor, or even a senior senator. He was a jr senator barely into his job after having state-level stuff. So don't play that game.

There a substantial difference between obama and trump, just as there is between me and you.

Yeah, one was a nobody jr senator with no executive experience of any shape, no top secret clearance, no international acumen. The other has massive executive/delegation experience, no top secret clearance, but massive international acumen.

But to get to the point at hand, anybody who thinks that Gingrich, Flynn, Priebus, Sessions, Huck, Bossie, Conway, Guiliani...etc wouldn't have any clue how to fill vacancies, you're a fucking fool.

Take it up with the WSJ and DJT. He's the one that apparently wanted to hold off planning:

Before Tuesday, [his top advisors] were unable to focus the New York businessman on the 73 days between the election and inauguration, a senior aide said. They said Mr. Trump didn’t want to jinx himself by planning the transition before he had actually won.

Again what's the problem with the story? Trump didn't want to prepare for the transition to focus on his campaign and Obama is willing to accommodate him to make the transition work.

And how'd Hillary surround herself with? Fucking losers. All of them. They fucking lost. Let that sink in. They fucking lost the entire goddamned election to a political neophyte. And why? Because they thought they were so fucking good, so elite, so special, that they could just ignore rural voters and fuck over the country. They popped fucking champaign well before the fat lady sang.

And yeah, that's your A-team of people who did their homework and surrounded themselves with success. Let that shit marinate on you for a bit before you even come back and post. Your fucking A-team lost. Lost horribly. Lost so horribly that they probably shouldn't even show their faces around a political campaign again.

I give Obama some credit, but there is a huge difference between not having all of the positions ready to go and not knowing you need to fill them.

The two are barely on the same planet in terms of intellectual curiosity. Thanks for verifying my point about your judgement.

That wasn't the contention.

He was also a young president with enormous energy & sense of duty. Being President is rightfully considered the toughest job in the world, completely unlike the life of a playboy billionaire, celebrity & reality TV star.

Yeah, that is true. One is about to have his whole theoretical intellectual tower toppled over by a pragmatist who actually builds real towers.

Remember I agree with Trump that white nationalism is the path to victory for the GOP.

Or one not knowing what information security is, how to connect with anybody outside of the Beltway, one unable to stop pilfering the planet for a few bucks, and one that things she is owed everything but has earned nothing.

Awe, poor baby, so many counties voting for Obama twice only to flip to the other side. Must be tiring to blame everybody else for the "lady's" failure.

McCain/Romney and most of the GOP including yourself certainly didn't figure out what Trump did. I don't blame him for doing what it takes to win.

Hillary was never my A-Team. Not in 2008, and not in 2016 either. In 2008 I was for Obama by far and in 2016 Bernie Sanders was my A-team, by a long long shot. As far as a transition to power goes, as mediocre as I felt Hillary's campaign was, I do suspect she would have been more than prepared for the transition.

Insert quarter, try again.

Agreed on the "Didn't know everyone was replaced" being false, those are the last people you want around, and there are plenty of seasoned members on the transition team who were well aware of how the transition works.

lol, salon and slate as sources :D Must be pretty desperate for his fill of negative Trump stories.

I can't see the WSJ article, but it's safe to assume it's nothing even close to the drivel on slate and salon.

Still, Mr. Trump’s transition is slightly behind the pace set by previous incoming presidents and the timetable established by his own team.

President Barack Obama, for example, named his chief of staff two days after winning the 2008 campaign. Inside the Trump transition team, a broader group of officials known as the “landing team” was supposed to have been announced on Friday and start inspecting agencies for potential changes this coming week. That was delayed after Mr. Trump shuffled the transition team’s leadership.

Another contributing factor: Mr. Trump’s victory surprised even his own top advisers, who, before Tuesday, were unable to focus the New York businessman on the 73 days between the election and inauguration, a senior aide said. They said Mr. Trump didn’t want to jinx himself by planning the transition before he had actually won.

During their private White House meeting on Thursday, Mr. Obama walked his successor through the duties of running the country, and Mr. Trump seemed surprised by the scope, said people familiar with the meeting. Trump aides were described by those people as unaware that the entire presidential staff working in the West Wing had to be replaced at the end of Mr. Obama’s term.

But let's just focus on bashing Salon and Slate, as that's a very productive area of discussion.

Ok, just read the WSJ article. As expected, salon and slate are full of crap. They take some quotes and then put a bunch of worthless drivel around them. Of course the transition team is a little behind schedule, everyone thought they had no chance to win so I'm sure they didn't spend nearly the amount of time on planning a transition that everyone was saying would never happen.

The contention that Trump and his team didn't know the scope of the transition and who needed replaced and such is a load of crap, unless you want to believe that people like Gingrich and Priebus have no clue about what government looks like.

Good stuff, the desperation shown in all these anti-Trump threads is delicious, better than the smell of coffee in the morning! :D
