On a recent Sunday morning just before dawn, two carloads of white teenagers drove to Jackson, Mississippi, on what the county district attorney says was a mission of hate: to find and hurt a black person.
In a parking lot on the western side of town they found their victim.
James Craig Anderson, a 49-year-old auto plant worker, was standing in a parking lot, near his car. The teens allegedly beat Anderson repeatedly, yelled racial epithets, including "White Power!" according to witnesses.
Hinds County District Attorney Robert Shuler Smith says a group of the teens then climbed into their large Ford F250 green pickup truck, floored the gas, and drove the truck right over Anderson, killing him instantly.

Edited. I posted something in this thread was in extremely poor taste. Although I meant no harm, I offended many members, and for that I apologize. I hope the bastards that commited this terrible crime are shown a proper "welcome" in prison.

Two life sentences? Good. He deserves to rot in prison. His accomplices in the beating deserve some prison time as well.

This. He may have been the ring leader but it took a number of people to beat this guy close to death. They need to get what's coming to them too.

These monsters will probably be openly accepted into the White Power gangs in prison.
Crimes and convictions like this (multiple witnesses, obvious motive or guilty plea) should get death within 1 year.

Everyone in these two trucks should be charged and everyone in the truck which ran over this guy should be charged with murder if they did not attempt to stop it from happening. But who knows how bad he was beat before being hit, he could have been near death already so these other losers may not get the justice they deserve.
