my computer screen has gone all white a couple times while browsing the internet also when i use my keyboard it locks up the computer.
very strange any ideas what mite cause it.
i am useing a dell "samsung lcd monitor
 
You mean just typing it will lock up the computer? We need more details and I'm assuming it's the system listed in your sig. Do you have all the latest drivers installed? Run memtest86 for a possible bad stick of memory. Is the lcd hooked up via dvi? Have you tried a different video card. I would also run adaware.
