White Russian - the drink

So instead of mixing I used a shaker, that is a good thing to do. It get's it all frothy.

1 part vodka
1 part kalua
2 part 2% milk (no heavy cream for me)

SHAKE vigerously then pull over ice.

Man you got me wanting a drink, so I looked in the cabinet and found some kahlua (which I hope doesn't spoil), but had no vodka! So instead I made a "white cuban" or a "white jamaican" in this case with 1 part Kahlua, 1 part Appelton's Rum, and 2 parts milk. Pretty good!!

I've always had this thing about mixing dairy products with alcohol... blehhhh.

black russians for me. 🙂

1 part kahlua, 1 part good vodka (tito's, and from the freezer) and one part half and half. pour over ice.

Milk and booze do not mix.

Though when I have them it's 2 parts vodka, 1 part kalua, 1.5 parts cream or milk.

White russians used to be my favorite drink. I forgot how to mix them. Been 15 years since I had one. Maybe I will stop by the ABC store today.

Anyone tried this:
1 part baileys
2-3 parts milk (depending on if you are a wuss like me)
Hershey's chocolate syrup

Pretty much just alcoholic chocolate milk but its GOOD!

fukk the milk, Bailey FTW 🙂

anyways, in one of Kahlua's recommended list, they say mix one part kahlua with one part coke.... isn't that just nasty?

Tito's FTW! I was surprised by how good that vodka is... my friends couldn't believe a vodka called Tito's could be as good as it is 😀

Like others have said, replace the milk with irish cream - it's called a Blind Russian, and it's delicious.
