White Russian - the drink

Several variations have been created at my bar:

1 vodka
1 kahlua
1 baileys
2 milk:

1 vodka
1 kahlua
1 baileys
2 choc. milk

1 vodka
1 kahlua
1 chocolate liquer
1 milk

1 vodka
1 kahlua
1 amaretto
1 milk

wow, this thread exploded after I went to bed. If I use cream then ya, I'll do a 1:1:1 but when I use milk I do 2 milk, plus sometimes I like a larger drink but don't want to get hammered.

btw, any ever tried with skim milk......don't, it's horrible.

but then again i like girly drinks. things like alabamer slamer etc.

I Have, but baileys is very weak, you can get buzzed/drunk off of white russians.

Webtender agrees with the 2:1:1, which is how I've always made them. Is it really more common to use the 1:1:1? I have tried replacing the milk with Irish cream, that's pretty good.

Seriously, nobody really thinks about ever ordering or making a white russian....but if someone suggests it everyone jumps on board b/c they are so friggin good. There is just something about it that when you hear the name or see someone drink it, you just want one terribly bad.
