Ricotta cheese (Pronounced Rig-GUT) - lay it down on your stretched dough. Use a spoon and get it everywhere Add some Parmesan.

Mozzarella cheese - add about 3/4 what you use on a "non-white" pie.

Add some garlic.

Bake at 550+ for about 8 minutes.

mmmm

the one campus food place here has a wood-fired oven for making personal pizzas. One of the pizzas they make is a Chicken Bacon Ranch pizza, a "white pizza" with Alfredo sauce.

Absolutely delicious.

I hate when non-italian people pronounce ricotta like that (or call sauce gravy)

Italian people don't say it like that either. I know of no dialect that bastardizes the word that badly.

I say to you today, my friends, so even though we face the difficulties of today and tomorrow, I still have a dream. It is a dream deeply rooted in the Pizza dream.

I have a dream that one day this nation will rise up and live out the true meaning of its creed: "We hold these truths to be self-evident: that all pizzas are not created equal."

I have a dream that one day the red sauces of Pizza & the toppings that come with it will not be able to be served together at the table of Brotherhood.

I have a dream that one day even the state of Illinois, a state sweltering with the heat of non-white Pizza, sweltering with the heat of many a brick-oven, will be transformed into an oasis of ricotta, garlic and alfredo.

I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will be judged by the color of their pizza and by the quality of their toppings & cheeses.

I have a dream today.

I really like traditional (at least for my area) white pizza --> dough, olive oil with garlic, dried chilli flakes, onion, and basil as the "sauce", mozzerella cheese, tomato slices, italian seasoning.

In NYC, the white pizza typically has ricotta cheese on it. It's good too.

Fixed.
