Had a flashback when I heard this tune on the radio, Vito Bratta from White Lion doing the solo for "Wait".
Of course they were an 80's hair band but he had some chops IMHO.

Enough of my post 80's hair band ranting. 🙂
 
White Lion is ok. They killed Golden Earrings Radar Love though. I almost cried when I heard White Lions version. 🙁

But there better hair bands then White Lion. Cinderella rules all hair bands!!

I mean Vito was a damn good guitar player, the other guys were pansies in tights....

Vito is a good guitar player. I am not really into hair bands anyway. From the hair bands I listened to, IMO Cinderella was the best. But I am more into 60's 70's and 80's rock, excluding hair bands. I also listen to 70's and 80's Metal. Thats what I usually listen to.

Too bad White Lion didnt last very long. I believe the last album they released was in 1991. The first one was released in 1984.

There was so much hair in the 80's it was hard to tell hair bands from anyting else.

Ever see the doo on Malmsteen, Schenker, or Dio from the 80's?

 
I can kind of tell who is a hair band. Dio is Metal, Shenker is Rock, and so is Malmsteen.

Some people are dumb. They think Led Zeppelin, Jimi Hendrix and Iron Maiden are hair bands! :|
 
White Lion's bass player, James Lomenzo, is pretty good, too. He also is in David Lee Roth's band, and tours with Zakk Wylde, too.

Vito, I think, is in real estate. Doesn't play anymore at all, last I heard.

Wow! If he doesnt play anymore then thats a loss, the guy was good...had a nice slide/tapping technique, very fluid.

That and the weight. It was also hot in the summer and it took forever to dry it.
