Yep....jumped $20 in price in an hour. So, now it's $179.99 for a used card vs. $199.99 for a new sealed retail boxed BBATI Radeon X1950 Pro....hard decision.... 😉

200 of these on ebay for $190 - http://cgi.ebay.com/ATI-Radeon-X1950Pro...MB_W0QQitemZ280063514259QQcmdZViewItem

Well you did prove that they are cheaper buying them right from Directron's website then buying them off their ebay link. And they offer a better warranty when you buy them off the site then off ebay as well for they show on ebay as AS IS and more money.

As for E-Wiz, that looks like a good price for new and OEM and NON ATI, but the egg is showing the for the ATI version to be $215 +$6 shipping.

Now correct me if Im wrong but Directron is selling open Box ATI versions not refurbs, or other makers, so they should still come with ATI's 3 year Warranty because of them being open box cards. Sapphire last I remember gives jsut a 1 year warranty (may be wrong but last time I had one it was just one year), so your buying Like new ATI built cards with 3 year warranty's that were used, according to another post that went to the demo in TX, for only 5 days so your getting one hell of a hot deal on barely used, for sure to almost 100% not of been abused or over clocked, cards for over $50 off.

Seems hot to me 😉

NM Looks like ATI went 1 year as well, still $50 cheaper 😛

yeah- ATI switched to one year and I know ASUS is 3yr, and Sapphire is 2yr(but $15 processing fee).
I think if you dig 2 slot super cooler card the ASUS for $169+sh is the better deal IMHO...
I know I certainly refuse to buy any video card over $100 that is less than 2yrs warranty...
edit- looks like the x1950pros are dropping- the ASUS dropped to 169+sh at newegg from 179 today and allready sold out
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a...31&ATT=14-121-031&CMP=OTC-pr1c3grabb3r
... and neweggs shipping is $5 cheaper than ewiz -so some may want to keep an eye on that to come back in stock at newegg- bigger cooler, better warranty, better reseller... (may not be as good for crossfire though with no internal connectors as Zipzoomfly's batch doesnt have them it seems, but neweggs pics do show them...)

Isnt the OP card a crossfire ed card, these are not? Or am I missing something.

Yes, you're missing something. The Radeon 1950 Pro video card is Crossfire enabled....every single one of them, no matter the manufacturer. Look at the two linked from eWiz. See the two tabs along the top of the card.....the ones that look like some sort of connector? (It's better seen in the second link.....the one for the Sappire card.)

Those are the two Crossfire connectors. The new Crossfire connectors use a pair of flexible internal bridge connectors to achieve Crossfire, a lot like the system SLI cards use. The 1950 Pro was the first to use this system and will be the system for Crossfire now, replacing that stupid external dongle system they first used.

Are you syaing there is no more master card.

would getting the ASUS one be just as good as an ATI one? I'm about to jump on the ASUS for $170 +shipping. Seems like a good deal.

One last question. why is the ASUS listed on newegg as EAX1950pro? what is the EA for?
