I mean it has to be the most healthy fast food joint out there.

They use smart meal tactics to control portion size. I guarantee their burgers have the lowest fat/cal of any fast food.

Has to be the most healthy fast food place there is.

mmmm.....sliders with hot sauce...mmmm.....chicken rings

I just checked!!!

They are indeed a most healthy fast food.

Their hamburger only has 140 calories and 7 grams of fat. Heck, silly vegtables have more than that!

You can't argue with the nutrition info though. They are VERY healthy.

all 4 food groups in a single tasty meal - meat, dairy, vegtable, grain.

Processed cheap meat loaded with antibiotics and hormones, processed cheap milk with the same, vegetables which are either a.) deep-fried or b.) have very little or no beneficial nutritional content like iceberg lettuce, and heavily refined wheat, all topped off with a large amount of refined sugar.

If that's your definition of "healthy," I shudder at what you think is "unhealthy" - a gallon of ice cream in one setting?

It may be comparatively "healthy" than the Hardees' burger, but that doesn't mean I would eat it.

All foods are evil in their own way.

I'm just thankful White Castle is able to provide a healthy meal at a reasonable price.

Actually that deep fried burger sounds simply wonderful. I may try to deep fry a whitey this weekend. That would just be the poo.

I would say their portion control technique works wonders for me. I won't eat a single ones because they taste like equine excrement. See, now if they would just make them taste more like bovine excrement, I might be able to handle it.

It might be healthy, if not consumed in generous amounts AFTER the use of copious amounts of mary jane. :D

Talk about healthy!

More whitey goodness you can make at home
http://www.whitecastle.com/_pages/recip...asp?section=cookoff&type=2004&recipe=1

10 White Castle® hamburgers
1/4 cup herb-flavored oil-packed sun dried tomatoes, chopped
1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese with jalapenos
1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
3 large bell peppers (red, yellow or green)
6 thin slices cheddar cheese
1/2 cup dairy sour cream
3 black olives, chopped
Salsa

Put hamburgers into food processor; process to crumb. Place into bowl. Stir in tomatoes, Monterey Jack and Parmesan cheeses and garlic powder.
Cut peppers in half lengthwise; remove stems and seeds. Arrange cut-side down on broiler pan. Broil until skins are charred. Remove skins.
Place pepper halves, cut side up in shallow greased baking pan. Fill peppers with hamburger mixture.
Bake at 350° for 20 minutes. Top each pepper with a cheddar slice. Bake additional 10 to 20 minutes until pepper is tender.
Arrange peppers on serving platter. Top each with dollop of sour cream garnished with olives. Accompany with salsa. Serves six.

The flaw in your logic is that most people go to White Castle either high or drunk and end up buying a craver case and polishing off 20-30 burgers cause they are to hammered to know better.

hey, they chose to overeat.

But find a fast food joint with such healthy burgers! I don't think it can be done.

the size of them doesn't help the burgers. I'm a very skinny guy (5'11, 145lbs) and i usually go there and finish 10 in a sitting. If each one is 140 calories, i'm taking in 1400 calories. now to me, that doesn't sound too good.

While they may be healthier than any other fast food place, i really don't think that it matters if you're dropping 10 in a sitting.

Side note: They are the sh!t. Can't get enough of them.

There are no bad foods, only bad diets. In other words, don't eat them every day for lunch and dinner.
