I dont care what you think, Its a man's drink. Are you a man?

That comment was aimed more at Canadian Mist and Crown Royal.
Besides, Yukon Jack is a liqueur ;)

Its a whiskey and a liqueur.
The best of both worlds. (I am kinda drunk so i am not going to argue with you on two differnt forums)

Then my strategy of flanking you to attain total victory will fail :(

Tonight will be Bookers and Bakers, though I might dip into the Woodford, the Elijah or the Wellers.

I just bought some Glenfiddich 12 today. Have never had it, but I've had Glenlivet 12 which I thought was delicious. I'm about to crack that open in a few. I also have some Jameson in the freezer in case I feel like a shot.

Question for ATOT, no googling.

What are the requirements for a bourbon to be called a bourbon?

I read about this a while ago...didn't retain everything though.

It has to be made with a certain amount of corn (50% at least, I think). And there's something that distinguishes bourbon and straight bourbon...don't know what though.

EDIT: A trip to wikipedia reveals that I was somewhat right, but I also picked up this interesting thing:

"On August 3, 2007, the U.S. Senate passed a resolution sponsored by Senator Jim Bunning (R-KY) officially declaring September 2007 ?National Bourbon Heritage Month,? celebrating the uniquely American history of bourbon whiskey. It also calls on adult consumers who enjoy bourbon to do so responsibly and in moderation."

I'd answer but I live in KY and drink bourbon a lot, so it's too easy for me... I'll let someone else answer :)

How does it have to be stored while fermenting?

Very close, I'll try to recall from memory...

1) mash of 50% or more of corn
2) Aged at least 2 years in NEW charred white oak barrels
3) Barreled at 180 proof, bottled at 80 proof or above

That's a bourbon whiskey.
