I just got this 2.4B processor and it has a CoolerMaster heatsink/fan on it. The fan is driving me nuts. It's a 4000 rpm 70mm CoolerMaster fan, and it's got a high pitched whine that's really annoying. Is there any way to get rid of the whine without getting rid of the fan?
 
I don't think I can get another fan because there is no way to mount it. This 70mm screws right into the fins of the heatsink and a larger fan would not fit.
