Which Xbox football game?

I got Madden 2002 as a present, but i haven't opened it yet. I've heard it's not as good as the others. Which is the way to go? Wanted to make sure, cuz i can swap it w/another.

I hear Madden is great if you are a hardcore football sim enthusiast. Its about as real as it gets in terms of options, strategies, etc.

However, NFL2K2 is supposed to be the most fun. Many people say it reminds them of the old school Sega Genesis football games that you could play with a buddy for hours. Personally I like Sega Sports stuff more than EA.

I don't have any input for the XBox series of games, but...

I was raised on Madden. I played a Madden football game from every year on either Genesis or PC from the beginning (1991) to 2000. Then I picked up NFL2K1 for the Dreamcast a few months ago. And it honestly PLAYED better than any Madden game I'd ever played before.

So based on that experience, I'd probably also recommend giving NFL2k2 a try.

got nfl 2k2 for the dc, brother has madden for the ps2, and have fever for the xbox. I know a lot of it depends on the system but for overall gameplay I like Fever the best

NFL Blitz is the only football game i played alot of.Never much got into the madden series etc.But i did play Fever and found it to be very easy to pick up and play(i scored a td on my 1st drive)and the graphics were awesome!

I was in the same boat as you. They are all good. I ended up getting NFL2K2. It was the perfect mix for me. I don't think you can go wrong with it.
