Im about to buy everything for my new rig. I have a choice between the Toledo and Manchester core of the AMD X2 3800+ from the following retailers:

Manchester: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?item=N82E16819103562

Toledo: http://www.ewiz.com/detail.php?name=A64-38CDBX

What I want to know is how much of or if there will be a performance boost if I get the Toledo core with more L1 cache?

I have no plans for overclocking, and the rest of the parts can be found here: http://forums.anandtech.com/messageview...atid=27&threadid=1771004&enterthread=y

Any help is greatly appreciated.

The Toledo would have more cache, but it's not usable as half of it is disabled. I haven't heard of any way to re-enable it either. If you have no plans on overclocking (and really even if you do, as far as I know), the two will be equal.
