A GTR for sure. An asian guy driving a vette just wouldn't look right.:p

I'd get the Vette, in part because I'm white, not Asian. I'm just not a fan of the way the GT-R looks.

it looks much better in person. i thought it was rather fugly in pics, but seeing at the philly auto show, it's actually quite a looker.

that said, the shape of the C6 grows on me day by day... something very sleek and sexy about it.

i've always been a bang/buck guy, so i guess i'd have to go with the GTR, even though my inner fanboy wants me to go Z06 (i'm not that much a fanboy, but the corvette is a damn good car at every model/price)

Vette would be my choice. Now I would need to make room in the garage for it.

Course, one thing to think about, you can probably walk out with a Z06 for ~$70K right now. You probably won't walk away with a GT-R unless you throw $100K the dealer's way.

tough choice, i love both but might have to give nod to the Z06 because it comes in manual.
but the GT-R is hotness as well.

GTR without any second thoughts for the ~same price.

As an aside, I don't know why more sports cars don't come equipped with a HUD, the tech has been around for 60+ years and is a huge help in the safety area.

Plus it's just f'ing cool.

I'm not really sure why some posters are choosing their cars based upon their race. Very odd concept for me.

GT-R.

GT-R.

I'm black so I want an Escalade with 24's on it. jk jk.

Its a very tough choice. One side of me wants the GT-R to drive everyday but then the other side of me sees how much less the up keep on the Z06. What are the MPG figures for these cars?

Not sure but the Vettes tend to get abnormally high mileage on the highway...

That's $80 extra dollars after I sell it.

Pretty sure you could sell a GT-R for much more than that $76,840. :p

Assuming everyone has the same option of buying one as I do, I don't think so. :D

Regardless, if I had $76k to blow on a car, that would be the last thing I'd spend it on.

I don't like the stylings of either car, really. I'd take the Z06, though. I prefer it's stylings over the GTR's, and I just plain love V8s.

My favorite 'Vette is the C4 generation, specifically the '93 ZR1 405hp.

As much as I like the good old American V8, RWD muscle car with a manual, I have to go with the GT-R. It just seems to be that car most people would be able to live with as a multi function car.

I honestly don't like the look of the GTR, and Z06 has lots more support behind it, with so many forums, after market parts, cheap(er) parts, etc.

But I'm sure the GTR, like someone said, won't be around for too long and thus will be worth a good bit more later on.
