IMO there is almost no other car ugler then a vett
the F430 is meh to me, never liked ferraris in general, way to finiky of a car IMO, i know a few people who have them and there seems to always be something wrong with them + i couldent stand not having a real shifter


Personally id rather just have a Porsche, but they arnt on your list

Maybe i;'m the only person on the planet that thinks the F430 is a downgrade looks wise from the aesthetically pleasing F360. I'd still take the 430 for the driving experience though, but the C6 Z06 would be a close 2nd.

The Aston is a GT while the F430 and Z06 are true sports cars.

Once you sit inside and get moving, there is no way you will even think about the looks. For the price, the overall package you get is beyond amazing, I don't have words to describe it.

If money is not an issue, look at the quality of the interior you get, driving aid, how simple each is to handle, exhaust note, characteristics of each car and their engine, etc.

You also have to factor in brand name to a certain extent - one is a Ferrari, the other is a Chevrolet. Is that the right way? Well, not necessarily to an enthusiast, but I'd bet that it affects some people and their decisions, which if that's what makes them happy, that's great for them.

Ford GT in that price range over the F430...out of those though the F430...only because it is so much more refined than the vette even though it is "slower."

And I hate how people try to act like the Vette is going to be faster than a Ferarri if they get their hands on one. In fact, they will probably be faster in the Ferarri because it instills more confidence and is more forgiving...to run the vette as fast as it can you need to be an expert driver, turn off SC and TC, and keep the very very wild beast in line...most would wrap themselves around a tree.

Exactly - the F430 will have a lot more driver aid and will make unexperienced drivers look better compared to a Corvette.

what does 1/10th of a second mean to somebody who is not racing?

it is a set of metrics, that look nice on paper.

a 2006 toyota camry is faster, and has higher lateral grip than a 1983 volkswagon gti.
and i still wouldnt drive the camry, given the choice

Huh? I was talking about the part where he's comparing the Vette to the Ferarri (price wise mainly)

Gimme the Aston, looks 10x better than the other two plus it has that snarly exhaust that sounds the best of the three IMO. I don't care that its the slowest of the three...I don't have the skill to take any of these cars up to anywhere their limits as I'm sure is true for 99% of the people who have replied already. PS3/XBOX 360 doesn't count.

The M5 is Bangle fugliness. At least the other choices are 2-door sports cars. The E60 M5 is a disgrace to the name. E39 M5 forever!
