Which would be faster: a 3dfx Banshee or or Via KLE133 integrated vid?

My younger brother is going to be graduating from high school this June and I am looking to build him a new computer as a graduate present since he's on an old K6-2 333mhz clunker right now and I don't think it'll do for college. I'm not exacty rolling in money right now though so I'm looking to build this thing fairly cheaply (still in college myself and only bringing in part-time salary). I've found a Via KLE133 motherboard for a very good price on Newegg but I'm not sure about the onboard video. Do you guys think the integrated video on a KLE133 chipset could get him by? It'll be mostly for regular desktop use and maybe an occasional game (nothing too demanding though and 16-bit at 640x480 or 800x600 would be fine). The reason I asked about the Banshee comparision is b/c I've got one lying around (well, it's in my Linux box but I could give it to him and use another old trident card if necessary) and I could use that if I get a board w/ an AGP slot.

Thanks for any advice you might have to offer.

Probably the Banshee, the integrated vid in that chipset is Trident Blade3D, a pretty horrible chip never really meant for gaming at all.

OHHHH. I remember that one. Crap. I was under the impression that the KLE133 had the same video core as the KM133 (ProSavage) just without the AGP slot.

No.... If it was the Savage core, it would be better. It is the Trident core.. Great and cheap for buisiness PC's, but useless for any FPS gaming.
