Which would be better?

Which would better to have a A64 3000 with 939 pin or a A64 3400 754 pin? Would I be able to overclock the A64 3000 to the A64 3400 or is it better just to get the A64 3400?

Definately the 939 and a 3000+, then 8-12 months from now when the FX-55 is $200-$300 you can just slap one in your existing rig

I'd say A64 3200+ 939 since that costs the same as A64 3400+ 754. Not sure why you are choosing between $150 3000+ model when 3200+ is $195 and 3400+ is around $210. Unless you considered the price difference for the motherboards as well.....

I'd get 939 since you can overclock it easily to 2.4ghz matching 3400+ and you have a longer upgrade path. I'd say a longer upgrade path is worth losing 200+ speed rating (especially given the overclocking record of winchesters)

get the a64 s939 3200 and oc.

KOOL!!! look at how many posts i have 420 man i dont want to ever post again!
