Which would be better for photoshop work?

and is a 2MB L2 cache that much better than a 512MB? Which of these processors would you think would be better for a lot of photoshop work? And battery life?

Any help would be much appreciated

In theory a 2mb L2 cache is better, in real world you may not ever notice the difference. Check out this article at Tom's Hardware, with specific attention to the performance charts. It compares similar Pentuim M/Duo Core/Turion laptops. If I was grading out the performance based on these charts I think I would go with the Pentium M system in your link. The PM seems to have better overall Desktop application performance than the Turion and better battery life.

Thanks for the link. Whats your opinion on this as a cheaper alternative? It has a Intel Duo Core processor.

The Duo Core intel is the newest in the Laptop CPU lineup and is very good. If you are considering the laptop in your link you should really go to Dell and look at there e1505 model. If nothing else for a comparitive system. I would definately go with the Duo core system in this lineup.
