Which will give me better VGA cooling?

I'm no cooling expert, but I always assumed that water was better than air in every application. Seems to follow from water being a better medium for heat transfer.

IDK, but voted water as long as it doesn't leak 😀

For ACing the VGA a SI-97 modded to the card seems to work very well indeed.
I posted this mod. It's about 50 down the page from this thread. Take a look.

What about the Zalman VF700-Cu?

It blows air across the PCB intsead of just cooling the core and memory like the NV Silencer.

I have an ATi Silencer, and once dust gets inside the cooler, it's very difficult to take out because it's basically a box. The Zalman is a more open design.

The PCB doesn't really matter. After all, they run those things through a solder bath.
