Which will be faster?

Im thinking ot getting a laptop with either the following configurations:

1. PM 1.5 + intel graphics2
2. Celeron 2.6 + radeon 9000

The celeron might be a "D" depending on my luck but I doubt it. How would this celeron compare to a regular P4 in normal windows tasks. Ie how about with a P4 1.8GHZ?

And which of the following will be faster in gaming and which one for longetivity?

*whistles* 9000 don't even remember that far back. I guess number 2 would be better for gaming and I have no clue about longevity.

2 and laptop celerons are way better than desktop versions. You can't game with a intel graphics no H&L.
Lot's of games won't even run right. 9000 you gotta use 640x480.

Definitely go with the Celeron. That will out perform the Mobile P4 hands down.

Its a P - M. Equal to about a 3000MHZ P4..

If I can find one (in karachi) Ill ditch these both and get a Presario R3000. 2.8GHZ - 9000. But its out of stock ATM.

sorry, but neither of those laptops will be able to game worth a darn. the one with the radeon 9000 would be better, but still suck at gaming

cant you find a decent laptop with at least a radeon 9600?

the best gaming laptop ive ever used was an emachines athlon64 3200+ with radeon 9600 (to say i was impressed is to put it mildly, lol) its a great gaming machine, but dont think its available anymore

theres a dell 8600 for about $1500. 1.4GHZ P-M. Either has a fx5200 or 9600. Ill go check it out tomm. Worth it if there is a 128MB 9600?
