Or this Gateway HDTV FPD2185

I highly doubt that the 99% of monitors out there will become USELESS since they don't have HDCP. I really could care less. Like HD-DVD or Blu-ray is gonna catch on any time soon, it isn't even out yet. Things take a long time to catch on with the general public.

And since you say you need it ASAP, get the 2005FPW. It rox! 🙂
 
Windows Vista will not require HDCP to operate, only for stupid restricted media (think movies) that won't play if you don't have a HDCP compatible monitor or will play only at lower resolutions.
 
The 2005FPW uses the exact same panel as teh 20" cinema display but it gets ever so slightly better reviews. It has what might be a nicer backlight as well es much more adjustable ergonomics. It is also significantly cheaper

I just spent some time unwrapping a 20" cinema on friday (my dad is a professional photographer and clients have certain expectations and do not know that the dell is exactly the same panel so the price premium is more than worth it for the client confidance) and it is absolutely beautiful. The viewing angle is so wide compared to the 1905FP (on a side note, does anyone remember the key combo to get the debug menu to come up on the 1905FP so you can see what panel it is?). It is bright and color-accurate after calibration so yeah...go with the dell.
