Cylons were just a bunch of emo tin cans that couldn't finish the job they started to do.
 
Everything was better before Voyager.

It's true. The borg in TNG were heartless and logic driven: there was no negotiating or tricking them.

Then that stupid "Hugh" episode came along and gave one of them a personality.

Then Voyager came along and suddenly you could reason with them. It's an example of overthinking a good thing.
