IE , it comes with the OS and does what i need, so why would i spend cycles with something else??
SP2 pop up blocking works better than google toolbar pop up blocking

I just switched to Firefox on my main computer. It offers two main advantages over explorer:

1) It doesn't suffer from "windows rot" where, as time goes on, I can have fewer and fewer windows open until it finally goes bonkers and starts screwing up my display.

2) It doesn't give me a "your security settings do not allow active X controls to run on this page" message three or four times on a lot of pages.

firefox because
1) pop-up blocker
2) useful plug-in's (google, dictionary.com)
3) tab browsing
4) more secure (less tracking cookies scanned by adaware)
5) faster than IE

IE... it opens faster and is supported by Yahoo Companion.

FF is only good to me because it loads websites a tiny bit faster. I don't care for its other features.

i've used firefox for about 7 months now. with the latest release i've started to have real problems. i'm not sure whether it is firefox or SP2 that is causing the problems because i installed version 1.0 about the same time i installed SP2.

I JUST (literally 5 minutes ago) started using firefox because i realized that each IE instance was taking up like 30 megs of ram, while firefox takes up about 20 megs with multiple sites in one window. Its important to me cause I need the resources for my graphics work. Wow this is so much better.!

VIVA LA FIREFOX!

i've run firefox several days at a time and it starts to really eat up resources. i've seen firefox at 300mb.

and it will either crash or i just make a habit of shutting it down every couple of days and starting over.

Firefox

Many times faster than IE.
More secure.
Lots of nifty plugins for image zoom, google toolbar, translation off the right click menu (with plugin), just select text and google it off right click menu, or drag it onto a tab as a link, thumnails of each result for google searches (plugin), separate adjustable text & image zoom, other nifty stuff
Tabbed browsing.
Loads of developer-centric features like easily grabbing/editing the page css, nice views to browse info about all page elements, form inputs, etc, form hacking tools.
Built-in ad/popup blocking with programmable filter.
User-agent spoofing (with plugin) to make those few pesky "IE-only" sites accept it.
Most configurable browser on the planet.

Camino -Best Gecko based browser to date.
Mozilla -Works the best on my platform of choice.
Firefox -Because I don't want to clutter up Mozilla.
lynx -Just because.
Konqueror/Safari -I get bored easily.

Where's Dillo, links, lynx, w3m, camino, arachnid, and galeon?
And isn't crazy browser just IE with a bunch more holes added on? 😕

speakin of firefox, is there any way to get the tabs on the bottom of the page... and the address bar? Itd be much simpler to have them down there near my windows taskbar?

IE, cause eventually Firefox will be about as safe as a foxhole with water pouring down into it (hackers, spyware, adware).

Also I don't visit p0rn sites.
