Whatever IE comes with Win2000.

I've always found IE to "render" pages faster so I use it.

I'm interested in Opera but I hear it doesn't work with the forums.

<< IE6 from XP beta. Pretty icons, cant say I've seen a sh*t of a difference since IE4. >>

there's been quite a few changes... (XML support, CSS1/2, and other "behind the secens" stuff). The only reason you may not see the changes is because its looked "almost" the same since v4.

IE 5.5 - can't see any reason to use anything different, except for those stupid MS hater zealots.

IE

I'd use Netscape but it's so convenient being able to browse the internet, my network, and the files on my computer in the same window.

Are there any reasonable alternatives to Netscape and IE?

Mozilla (0.9.1) in both Windows and Linux and Opera (5.11) in Windows.

The Mouse Gestures function of Opera 5.x is really cool, and Mozilla has the prettiest interface plus an excellent bookmark system. Mozilla is more a professional browser than any other browsers I've ever used or seen.

I use some Netscape 4.77 but mostly IE 5.5. Mainly because Ie has rashed on me once ever, cant say the same for Netsape
