Which way should my cooler point (up or back?)?

I have a Lancool K7 which has the PSU on top. I'm using an Enermax Modu82+ which sucks air from the inside and blows it out. The case its self has two 120 mm on the front the case sucking air in, and one 120mm on the back below the PSU blowing out.

The can orient the Sunbeam Core Contact the the fan blowing into the PSU or out the back. Which would be better?

Other components are 8800GT, 2 HDs. Nothing crazy.

ideally you want it to push back to the rear so your rear fan can expell the heat.

Sometimes this wont work because of north bridge coolers, so the best answer is to the back if not possible, then what ever way it fits.

Kind of a side question but what about on cases with PSUs on the bottom and big exhaust at the top like the antec 900 and nzxt tempest? I always thought hsfs had one orientation didn't realize you could choose.

The idea is to exhaust the air outside of the case as fast as possible and in the most efficient way. You could test both scenarios because the position of the heatpipes might also have an effect vs. the advantage of the larger top exhaust fan of the case. It's hard to say with certainty with would be the best scenario before trying both out.

My p182 had a 120mm fan mounted as the exhaust. Unfortunately those stupid clips that the CCF mounts with required that I remove that fan. It was that... or remove part of the NB/power reg heatsink/heatpipe (and mount it so the fan exhausted up).
