Which video driver to use for Geforce 256 DDR in Windows 2000?

I just realized today that I haven't updated my video card drivers in several months. I have a Geforce 256 DDR (original Geforce DDR) and am running Windows 2000. 3dchipset.com lists a series of 7.xx and a series of 6.xx drivers. Which series would provide the best combination of performance/stability? Up to a few months ago I was constantly using the latest drivers with no problems.
