Hi all,

Can anyone please let me know of a good video card that would be compatible with my mobo, which is :

P4B533-V/LAN/PA-UAY

The case is :

Case ATX Antec SX1040B 400w

I'm trying to keep costs down a little, but don't mind paying an average price. In our family the pc gets used for all the usual pc stuff and games.

Any ideas please ?

Doug.

:)

what cpu are you using? From the info that you gave I would go with a geforce4 4200 128MB. i think in the hot deals forum i saw somewhere they were being sold for around 130.

what kind of games are you going to be playing? if you are a hardcore gamer I would suggest the Geforce4 4200 128mb if not i'd say get the ati radeon 9000

It depends on how much you want to pay. If you want low cost and good performance, then I would go with either the Radeon 8500 at around $90-120 or the GF4 Ti4200 64/128 at around $130. These are the best bang for the buck going right now and they will last you for quite awhile before upgrading is necessary.
