Which video card will suit this new setup best......

I'm picking up some new components for my computer and i'm still stuck on what video card to buy. Here's what i've got and what i'm upgrading to....

PII 400 TBird 900
256mb pc100 same
some MSI board Asus A7V133
SBLive X-gamer same
10&20 Gig WD HD's same
Intel Ethernet Card same
52x cdrom same
Win98se same
V3 3000 AGP ????

What fits into my budget and is available to me is an Asus 7700 32MB DDR, Radeon 32mb DDR, or Radeon 64mb DDR VIVO.
I use my pc for gaming of course, but not many First person shooters, and that stuff. I'm mostly into sports games, racing, some rpg, etc. What out of those video cards would u guys recommend?
Also i've got a question regarding fans. I'm not planning on overclocking at all so should i get more than the heatsink and fan the cpu comes with? Or i can pick up just about any Thermal Take or Cooler Master fan cheap at local stores. Are they necessary?
One more q...i can pick up a 256mb PC133 Infineon for $130Cdn, would the performance increase be worth it?

I'm looking on buying all this stuff before Easter weekend. Any and all help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks😀

I suggest Radeon 32MB unless you need the ViVo for something. Performance is minimaly better with 64MB DDR. With image quality better, and less cpu utilization in DVD than GF2, thats what I would do.

And for the second part, it would depend on your definition of 'worth it'. I don't think they few extra fps would be worth 130 canadian bucks, but it may to you, so its your call.

Well the only reason i put down the VIVO is cause it's only $10 more at the store.
So you'd both recommend the Radeon over the GF2?
Every salesman i've talked to tells me GF, every post and forum i've read says Radeon.
I'm looking for this card to last me as long as possible, would the 64mb have an extended life over the 32mb card? The price difference between the two cards is $60. If that means a bit better performance and a longer life i'll spend it for sure.
Thanks
